On February 2, 2017, Esmeralda Ballesha, Coordination Unit of National Business Forum (NBF), along with Mr. Nikolin Jaka, Chairman CCI Zak Topuzi representing ATA, Vullnet Haka, chairman of APKA in the same time members of NBF and Ms. Enida Bezhani, chairman of AMCHAM and partner of NBF and other representatives from the business community were invited in the public roundtable hosted by the Ministry of State for the Protection of Entrepreneurship in cooperation with Prime Ministers’ Office, Ministry of Finances and Economy and Ministry of Energy and Transport.
Deputy Prime Minister Senida Mesi, stated that through this reform the government is making efforts to fight corruption and emphasized that soon all the public services will be performed online.
Minister of Finance and Economy, Arben Ahmeti, stated that in Customs and Tax administration, entrepreneurial profiles have been built over the years, based on risk assessment, companies that have no problems will not undergo a detailed inspection in the future.
State Minister for the Protection of Entrepreneurship, Sonila Qato stated this reform aims at facilitating and simplifying all the procedures followed by citizens and businesses. She also stated that they are working to authorize Chambers of Commerce to provide some of the permits and authorizations.
